Olivia Wegmann-Krider, Staff Photographer
Olivia (she/her), is a sophomore and aspiring photographer beginning her first year on the Zephyrus staff. Controversially, she does not listen to music, ever, and instead chooses to tend to her beloved golden lemon thyme in her herb garden. She plays tennis a lot (some may say too much) and you’ll regularly find her begging somebody else to play with her. Aside from playing on the varsity team, her favorite activities include making and eating chocolate chip cookie dough, socializing with her friends, and cooking new recipes. One of her goals in life is to figure out how to bake the perfect popover. Olivia disguises her hours spent at Starbucks as “study sessions” and prefers to shop online for useless things related to her favorite animal; the ostrich. Her favorite subject is currently psychology, because she enjoys learning how to psychoanalyze others and attempting to figure out what’s going on in her own brain (to little avail). She frequently procrastinates her schoolwork by watching reality TV shows in Spanish, telling herself in vain that it might someday make her fluent. If you have Spanish with her, you just might catch her in the act! This year, she’s excited to take some photos for the newspaper and get to know everyone in Zeph!
