If you walked into the pubs room, you probably wouldn’t see Lexi Han. Nevertheless, she was the opinion section editor for the 2024–25 school year. Lexi is supercalifragilisticexpialidocious, and she brings that energy to Zephyrus through her long list of talents which include procrastination, being “a certified pickleball demon,” and having good taste in men (depending on who you ask).
Despite her many skills, Lexi has a long bucket list. “I want to get into matcha, I want to read more, I wish I knew how to sew,” she said.
Lexi has been very busy over the last four years but has achieved a lot. “One of my greatest accomplishments in life would probably be running the Edina Girls’ Tennis account on TikTok. That was a big moment for me,” she said.
Other notable moments include having a love song written for her, driving to Iowa to take the SAT with Claire Chen, and dying her hair blonde. However, one moment undoubtedly tops all the rest. “My favorite Zephyrus memory was last year. Nora and I organized Zonding during finals week, and it was a fashion show,” she said.
After her tenure at Edina High School concludes, Lexi is ready for her postsecondary plans. “I’m going to the University of Wisconsin, Madison,” she said. “I’m undecided, like most things in life.” While at college, she hopes to continue with her passions. “I love shopping, napping, and sidequests. Fun fact, I’m a professional side questor. And I’m CPR-certified,” Lexi said.
Despite her seemingly perfect exterior and glowing personality, Lexi has weaknesses too. “Sometimes I have really low standards, and I skip school a lot, so that’s probably a weakness too. I also peaked at violin in middle school,” she said.
Being Opinion editor, Lexi has many hot takes. “The Oxford study might be true. Some people just don’t have a spine. And people hate on Edina too much. If Edina’s bad, so is Minnetonka and Wayzata and every other city to ever exist. People just give Edina too much hate,” she said. Lexi must know, as she has sampled many a Minnesotan town. “I used to live in Eden Prairie, so I’m diverse like that,” she said.
Needless to say, whatever Lexi’s next steps are, her effervescent energy and blinding blonde hair will be missed at EHS.
