Stress Eating

With finals coming up, stress is at an ultimate high for students. There are many ways to cope with stress: meditation, buying a litter of puppies, sleeping for five days straight, and most importantly: eating. Food is a comfort that nothing can compare with. Food will always be there for you, in sickness and in health, till death do you part.

The problem with stress eating is that once you start, it’s hard to stop. I find that I stop by my kitchen for a “little snack” much too often during times of stress.  In order to avoid this kind of overeating, you must regulate. Avoid taking hourly trips to your favorite fast-food restaurant. Stop by the grocery store ONCE and pick up a few of your favorite snacks and ration them into individual locked safes that unlock every hour. Then put all your money and credit cards into blocks of ice until after your stress is released.

This method has worked for many times. It’s the perfect way to stress eat without stressing out about it.
