Edina Girls’ Soccer
Edina Girls’ Soccer started the season with two close losses, but they’ve been on an upwards climb since with seven wins and two ties. They are ranked fourth out of eight teams in the Class AAA Section Two. Their final in-season game is against Blake on Oct. 4.
Edina Boys’ Soccer
Edina Boys’ Soccer started off the season strong with two wins, both 1–0. After a tough 1–4 loss against Buffalo, they’ve recovered with only one more loss to Minnetonka. So far they have a record of 10–1–2 with their last in-season game against Hill Murray on Oct. 4.
Edina Football
Edina Football had a great start to their season with a 49–21 win away at Hopkins. They then brought it home to Kuhlman and had another great win against Wayzata: 40–14. Since then, they have had two losses, including one away at Eden Prairie and another at Edina’s homecoming game against Maple Grove: 7–33. They were able to make a comeback the next week away at St. Michael-Albertville with a 42–21 win and have three more in-season games remaining.
Edina Girls’ Cross Country
Edina Girls’ Cross Country won their first race of the season Northwoods on Aug. 22 at. They then placed third at the out-of-state Iowa Spartan Challenge 5k. On Sept. 11, Edina had a clean sweep through varsity, junior varsity, and C team, with individual champions in the varsity and junior varsity race.
Edina Girls’ Swim & Dive
The Edina Girls’ Swim & Dive team is halfway through its fall season. They started off the season undefeated in their dual meets but had a loss to Minnetonka on Sept. 24. They are currently preparing for the True Team State Meet on Oct. 15 at the University of Minnesota.
Edina Boys’ Ultimate Frisbee
Edina Boys’ Ultimate Frisbee is currently in their fall season as a mixed program. To prepare for the spring season, the program has joint practices and scrimmages to work on different skills and make progress all together. Last year, Edina Boys’ Ultimate Frisbee won state, and they are now working to accomplish this again in the 2026 spring season.
Hornettes
Hornettes have had a great year performing different dances at both football and soccer games. They showed off what they have been working on at the 2025 Hornettes Showcase at Kuhlman Stadium on Sept. 27. It was a great chance to see both JV and varsity Hornettes perform at no cost.
