EHS Boys’ Volleyball
This spring marks the inaugural season of Boys’ Volleyball as a sanctioned sport by the Minnesota State High School League. The Edina High School Boys’ Volleyball team earned its first official win with a victory over Roosevelt High School on April 17. The team’s regular season is set to conclude on May 22.

EHS Lacrosse
The EHS Boys’ Lacrosse team and Girls’ Lacrosse teams are off to a strong start this season. The boys’ team earned wins over Blaine, Woodbury, Maple Grove, St. Michael-Albertville, and Wayzata while the girls’ team secured victories against Chaska, Shakopee, St. Michael-Albertville, and Wayzata. The boys’ regular season will conclude on May 17 and the girls’ regular season will conclude on May 22.

EHS Badminton
The EHS Badminton team holds an undefeated 12–0 record and is currently ranked as the first team in the state of Minnesota. The team is coming off the back of two successive state championships, and placed first at the Edina Invitational on March 25 with a total of 45 points.

EHS Rugby
The EHS Rugby team is preparing to travel to Edinburgh, Scotland this season to compete against teams from around the world. The trip will provide players with international experience and the opportunity to engage with a global rugby community as they prepare for the rest of the season. The team will play their first league game on May 3.

EHS Baseball
The EHS Baseball Team began their season on April 9, securing a four game win streak with victories against Bloomington Jefferson, Hopkins, St. Louis Park, and Wayzata. The team also had the opportunity to compete at Target Field on April 26. The team’s record is now 5–5, with nine games left in a regular season that will conclude on May 23.

EHS Golf
The EHS Boys’ Golf Team and Girls’ Golf Team began their seasons last week. Reigning individual state champion and team captain Torger Ohe will seek to add another title to his name. Both teams will look to qualify for the state tournament, with section competition scheduled from May 27–28.

EHS Softball
The Edina Softball team began their season on April 10, securing a four game win streak with wins against Hopkins, St. Anthony Village, Mankato West, and St. Peter. The team will conclude their regular season on May 15.

EHS Track and Field
Both the EHS Boys’ and Girls’ Track and Field teams began their seasons in late March. Both teams are looking forward to the Lake Conference Varsity Championship on May 20.

Devarsh is incredibly excited to be returning for his fourth and final year on Zephyrus. When he is not in the Publication Room,  you can find him spending time with friends and watching his glorious kings LeBron James and Anthony Edwards rack up massive numbers on the court. As a “gastronomy connoisseur,” Devarsh loves to eat. You can often find him indulging in rare and extravagant delicacies like Doritos, Oreos, and Sour Patch Kids–five star cuisine that even Gordon Ramsey finds too tedious to make. Devarsh also loves listening to music, spending hours listening to the likes of Bryson Tiller and Brent Faiyaz while studying or waiting in the mile-long line for the cafeteria chicken sandwich. ​​In his final year at Edina, Devarsh is determined to tackle some of the school’s most pressing questions, such as: “What can be done to counter brainrot at EHS?” and “Who is the best Brawl Stars character?” He looks forward to making the most of senior year and can’t wait to meet even more amazing people.
