After premiering on Sep. 23, 2013, the long anticipated season five finale of “The Voice” has finally arrived. The finals will air on Monday, Dec. 16, and the winner will be announced on Tuesday, Dec. 17. One of the three finalists will receive a recording contract with Universal Studios and thus the potential to make it big. With as many as fifteen million viewers, the fifth season of “The Voice” will soon be coming to an end. One question remains, however: who will be crowned the winner?

The three finalists: Jacquie Lee (Team Christina), Tessanne Chin (Team Adam), and Will Champlin (Team Adam). This season has been quite competitive, and for the first time in three seasons, Blake Shelton’s team will not win.

Jaquie Lee is a sixteen-year-old powerhouse. There isn’t a note she can’t hit.

Tessanne Chin is a Jamaican with a classic, stunning, and extremely powerful voice.

Will Champlin is a hard worker with a rough edge and an amazing range. He’s always trying to push his limits.

All three are amazing singers, so whoever wins, the music industry will be receiving a talented, real singer. Personally, however, I believe that it comes down to Jaquie Lee and Tessanne Chin.

Jacquie at this point has an advantage: her age. For some reason, America is always charmed by the younger stars and is usually more apt to give them the title. An example: last season Danielle Bradbery (Team Blake) won the voice. She was only sixteen.

But because the competition will be so close, I believe that Tessanne Chin could also take home the title. If I were to place my bet on one of these three singers, it would be Tessanne Chin.
