If potatoes had a fan club, would you write their fanfic? Whether you are a tater fanatic, or simply just allergic to every other food ever, you may still have more to learn. You might think you know everything about this tasty tuber, but let this be a test to your knowledge.

1. Microwave potato chips: Do you love potato chips, but can’t stand the unhealthy, fatty grease that comes with them? If this is the case, then microwave potato chips may be the perfect fit for you! All you need is potatoes and a microwave. Simply cut the potatoes into thin slices (⅛ inch), and soak them in cold water. Next, sprinkle the desired amount of salt over them, and put them in the microwave on high for 3-4 minutes. Next thing you know, you’ll have a healthy version of Lay’s! You won’t even notice a difference. 😉

2. Blind tater tot tasting: This super fun ritual is an exciting activity for anything from sleepovers to warehouse raves if you are not the most social, and the warehouse happens to have an oven, plates, and possibly professional cheese tasting picks (highly recommended). First, go to the grocery store. In the frozen foods aisle, you will be faced with an array of sometimes up to as many as three different choices. Pay for your top picks, and freeze until party time. Once ready, cook as instructed and arrange on separate plates. If you want to be in on the fun, have someone else perform this step. Taste using cheese tasting picks to mark the number, and then record your thoughts on a score sheet. Reveal the results, and you will be completely surprised! (Results may vary).

3. Drink potato juice: Are you in on the hot juicing trend right now? If you love potatoes and you love juice, try popping some in your juicer. Not only is the juice full of Vitamin C, Vitamin B6, and iron, but it’s also super delish (note: the writers of this article have not actually tested this product, and cannot fully support this. Try at your own risk). If drinking potatoes isn’t your thing, try bathing in it! It is a healthy natural exfoliant, and will keep your skin soft and healthy.

4. Have a refreshing potato popsicle: If you are on more of a raw diet, then this tasty treat is just for you! Simply put raw potato slices into a popsicle mold, add water, and throw in the freezer overnight. By no time, you’ll be tasting the deliciousness of raw potato and water combined!

5. Make a shirt out of potato skin: Tired of spending money on clothes? Well, we may have the perfect solution just for you! Potato skins are extremely nutritious, but did you know that they are also very sturdy? Simply save your potato skins for one to two months, but make sure to preserve them well so they stay fresh! After you have the desired amount of skins, simply super glue them onto your body to substitute as a shirt. And there you have it, a comfy shirt that never comes off!
