Karissa Cheng (she/her) is delighted to be spending her junior year as Zephyrus’s copy editor! Fresh from a summer of experimenting with at-home bubble tea and a “My Little Pony” binge, Karissa is ready to hit the ground running. She quickly succumbed to the throes of never-ending homework because she insists on playing Japanese Breakfast or Twice while she studies, but she continues to believe that she is an academic weapon. Her current loves include her majestic dog Kiwi, mango, the Oxford comma, “recovery” napping (useful way to shirk responsibility minus the guilt), and making historical references mid-conversation. Ever since Karissa got over a childhood beef with Rarity, she’s truly accepted that friendship is magic and is ready to spread the love to everypony.
