Ocean’s 8

With a debut date of June 8, ‘Ocean’s 8’ is a continuation of the popular Ocean series that started back in 2001 with Ocean’s Eleven. The latest installment in the franchise features a star-studded female cast including Anne Hathaway, Sandra Bullock, Dakota Fanning, Olivia Munn, and Rihanna, among others. The group attempts a seemingly impossible heist of a $150 million necklace.

The Incredibles 2

In theaters on June 15, this highly anticipated sequel stars the same cast as the successful original that debuted in 2004. In the movie, Mr. Incredible is left to take care of the family, while his wife, Elastigirl, attempts to save the world.

Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom

Coming out on June 22, the fifth in the Jurassic Park series takes place four years after the Jurassic World amusement park was destroyed. The main characters return to the island in order to rescue the remaining dinosaurs. Bryce Dallas Howard, Chris Pratt, and Jeff Goldblum discover a new species of dinosaurs has emerged.

Uncle Drew

In theaters on June 29, this movie draws inspiration from the famous Pepsi commercials that star Kyrie Irving dressed up as an old man attempting to dominate street basketball. The movie follows the main character, Dax, who, while down on his luck, stumbles upon basketball legends Kyrie Irving, Shaquille O’Neal, Reggie Miller, and Nate Robinson. Dax forms a basketball team in order to get his life back on track.

The First Purge

Coming to theaters on July 4, ‘The First Purge’ is a prequel to the Purge series. In the movie, the United States government tests out a new concept, allowing an isolated community to act however they want by eliminating all laws for one night. Marisa Tomei, Steve Harris, and Mo McRae star in this thriller.

Ant-Man and the Wasp

In theaters on July 6, this movie is a sequel to the original Marvel comic and film Ant-Man. In the movie, Ant-Man teams up with The Wasp to complete a vital mission and uncover secrets from the past. ‘Ant-Man and the Wasp’ stars fan favorite Paul Rudd along with Evangeline Lilly, Michelle Pfeiffer, and Michael Douglas.

Skyscraper

Coming to theaters on July 13, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson stars as a decorated FBI agent who is framed for starting a fire in a building. He must clear his name while saving his family, which is trapped in the burning skyscraper. Neve Campbell and Kevin Rankin also star in this action filled film.

Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again

In theaters on July 20 is the must-see sequel to the famous musical hit ‘Mamma Mia’. This musical follows a pregnant woman’s struggles as she seeks guidance from her mother. Amanda Seyfried, Meryl Streep, Pierce Brosnan, and Colin Firth star in this romantic comedy with music by Anne Dudley.

Mission: Impossible – Fallout

Coming to theaters on July 27, ‘Mission: Impossible – Fallout’ is the sixth movie in the series that stars Tom Cruise. Ethan Hunt and his team from the IMF are forced to deal with a fallout after a mission goes awry. Can Tom Cruise prevent a world catastrophe again? Rebecca Ferguson, Angela Bassett, and Alec Baldwin star in this action packed thriller.

The Spy Who Dumped Me

In theaters on August 3, ‘The Spy Who Dumped Me’ is an action comedy film about two best friends that get involved in an international conspiracy. One of the girl’s ex-boyfriend returns into her life and reveals that he is a CIA agent that’s being hunted by assassins. Mila Kunis, Kate McKinnon, and Sam Heughan star in this comedy.
