Senior Megan Armstrong admitted to being “super scared” when a group of energetic high-schoolers burst into her bedroom, blowing a horn, to tell her she had made homecoming court. “I had no idea it was coming,” she said. Despite the initial shock, Armstrong maintained that homecoming was a success. Her favorite part of the week was the court sleepover the night before coronation, though she wished she “could have stayed longer” at the dance itself. Armstrong described walking down the aisle at coronation with Will Braun as “nerve-racking, because there were so many kids there, but still fun.” Armstrong plays hockey, manages the soccer team, and does community service in her free time.
