Whose house is it? Joel’s house! Talking with Joel was refreshing. He gave me honest, candid answers to my questions, and it was clear that he had a lot of fun with court but was modest about it. Maybe that’s what the criteria for court members should be: who has the best attitude.
What activities are you involved in?
Ultimate Frisbee, Band, Robotics, Intramural Basketball
What were you thinking when you found out you were on court?
Honestly, I was asleep. It wasn’t really that surprising because people had been telling me they voted for me. But I wasn’t really awake till halfway through the day.
What was it like walking at coronation?
The whole thing of doing something in front of 1500 or 1800 people is pretty scary.
If you could change anything about Homecoming week, what would it be?
I’d say screw coronation. It’s just over-the-top and showy. It was a little bit too much. Make it less dramatic.
What was your highlight of Homecoming week?
The football game was fun. We got to screw around with the marching band. The sleepover Wednesday night was fun. We were there pretty late.
