DON’T only have one picture of you and your friend for their birthday. We want to see a collage of the 164 pictures you have of them.

DO post pictures of you and your teammates. Bonus points for awkward action shots.

DO use hashtags for likes. There really is a lot of value from getting seventy-eight likes when half the people liking it are named זון דזשאָוו.

DO post a picture of your Starbucks drink every time you get one. Studies have shown that they taste 200% better when you do.

DO post more than one detailed picture of rain on the window. We appreciate the updates when we are too lazy to look out the window ourselves.

DO feel free to post the occasional selfie. It’s okay to show a little self-love every once in a while, but we can only take so much of your face.

DON’T try too hard to be artsy. A picture of the marker you just used only has so much meaning.

DO have a creative username. But keep in mind that sometimes @live_laugh_loveyoloswaggiedonuthole123 can be hard to identify.
