I graduated Edina High School in 2012, high school for me was great, I loved the opportunities the school gave us and the teachers we had. More then anything though, I just loved the Edina community and the school spirit. I met good people in my time at EHS from best friends to girlfriends.
The only thing I hated about EHS was the bullying, this isn’t from my personal experience, but you notice that there is a lot of bullying going on with the girls. I was back at the school a few months ago for the senior panel and I noticed that they renovated the commons and I got to say… It’s very ugly.
I remember when I went to EHS the common’s was a place to chill and relax and hang out with friends in the couches, but now the main area in the commons has been filled with tables and it just killed the vibe.
Right now I go to school in Mankato and I’m very thankful for my years at Edina. The school really prepares you for college. I realized this in my English class when I found out that I was the only one that knew how to write a proper essay.
My advice to the current students of Edina High School is to take their school work seriously, parents stress to us how much school is important but those words don’t really sink in till your in College and you realize how much of your future is dependent on the decisions you made in High School and make in College. I’d also recommend to the current students to step outside their friend zone and get to know other people.

That it very good advice and it is true. Edina has lots of bullies and sometimes isn’t the best place but it is just high school so forget the bullies and focus on what matters. Grades!
