How to Spend a Snow Day

January 31, 2014

Well, so far this year we’ve had four days of school cancelled because we basically live in the arctic now. In case we have another one, Zephyrus thought we’d give you a guide for how to spend your day:

The brainiac: Do all your homework. The whole day. Why not get ahead while you’re at it?

The athletic brainiac: Do all your homework while doing sit-ups and squats.

The musician: Play your instrument forever. For fun, try playing along with your favorite CD.

The “average” kid: Watch Netflix. Play video games.

The person who loves to go to the spa: Take a bath, give yourself a facial, paint your nails.

The fashionista: Try on all your clothes. Maybe give some away to charity?

The softcore athlete: Run on your treadmill or do a workout DVD.

The hardcore athlete: Run outside. Freezing temperatures can’t stop you!

The artist: Put on French music and dance with a baguette while drawing.

The hipster: Put on your favorite beanie and hoodie combo, whip out the fake glasses, and have a deep, meaningful conversation with your dog or cat.

The flirt: Light all the candles in your house, burn incense, get the mood right, and wine and dine the crap out of yourself. Chinese for one?

The karate kid: Make a fort out of your couch cushions and practice your parkour.

The daredevil: Ride your motorcycle. Indoors.

The actual baby that isn’t even in high school: Hang out with your parents. Because that’s about the only thing you can do.

The genie: Update the furniture in your bottle.

The celebrity: Go to the Grammys. Or, just dance and be your awesome self (ie, run away from the paparazzi).
