Zephyrus: What does Black History Month mean to you?

Arvind Veluvali: Black History Month is about recognizing the sacrifices that Black Americans have made in the United States in the name of equality and progress for all races and creeds. And it’s about the struggle that they’ve faced (and continue to face) in our country. I think that EHS is moving in the right direction in terms of starting a discussion about race, but that it still has some work to do as a proponent of diversity.
