Why are you running for Student Council?
I am running for Student Council because I have had the privilege of being respected as one of the leaders of my class, and through the years I have been finding ways to apply my leadership skills properly and productively. Student Council is the perfect place to do just that. With being on Student Council these past few years, I have been able to take my skills and strengths to a group of 24 other individuals who have their own distinct traits. Together, we can accomplish anything we focus on. I want to be on council because I know that I can make a difference at EHS, I can be a representative of my peers, and I am willing to do whatever it takes to make the student experience at EHS the best it can be.
What do you plan to do if elected?
If I am re-elected, I want to continue finding ways to make sure that every student at EHS is represented fairly. I don’t want students to feel left out, and I want to ensure the most enjoyable and satisfying experience that Student Council can give to the students. I want to focus more on Student Council’s political value, by working more with the school administration and staff to solve our school’s issues. I want to make a difference, and not by just having great dance’s and pep fests, but by making sure that Student Council is doing everything it can to make EHS the best place it can be, for any and all.
What’s a fun fact about you?
Fun fact about me is that I can’t be productive without a morning shower. If I can’t shower at the start of my day, the day never—and I mean never—goes well.
