It’s that time of year again! Frantic holiday shopping is underway and finding the perfect gifts for your friends and family becomes a burden. Look no further with the new Edina Spirit Store, filled with all your shopping needs. Conveniently located in the Neighborhood Ice Cream Shoppe, the Spirit store is the number one place to not only by a gift, but to support your favorite school, Edina of course!

The shop sells various clothing including sweatshirts, pj’s, spirit jerseys, wind breakers, adorable hats and mittens. They also sell fun items like chairs, blankets, ear muffs, and much more. “Right now I’ve seen a lot of parents getting stuff for their kids,” said Edina High School senior and Spirit Store employee Chloe Gratzek. The perfect gift may be around the corner for you, check out the store to discover more to add to your wish list.

The Spirit Store is open from 4-7 Tuesday through Friday and from 11-4 on weekends. The store is seasonal and will be closing on December 30th, so head over now before it’s too late. Some of the sales associates are actually volunteers. The profits go to Edina boosters, so buying from the Spirit Store supports Edina.

“I also work at the Neighborhood Ice Cream Shoppe,” says Gratzek, “because it is in the same building, I was offered the job”. Many other high school students work as sales associates as well, you’’ no doubt find many recognizable faces in the store as well. “I really like working there! And I get a discount on the clothes so that’s pretty neat,” states Gratzek.
