Colorful lights flashed throughout the EPAC auditorium for the Orchestra Fall Sampler on Oct. 3. The concert started with Concert Orchestra playing Beethoven’s “Symphony No. 5.” The Repertory Orchestra then performed “Clocks,” the players’ first ever high-school piece. Sinfonia Orchestra played “Sweet Caroline” prior to joining Varsity Orchestra to play “Firework” before the latter played the piece “Moondance.” Concert Orchestra came back for the end, performing “Swamp Thang.” Finally, the combined orchestras played “Lean On Me.”
This concert was a way for Concert Orchestra to welcome all the new orchestras to Edina High School, playing with every orchestra during their songs. At the end, everyone gathered outside EPAC to have cookies and celebrate the performances.
