Zephyrus: What activities are you involved in?
Jonny Buenz: I am involved in stud. Co, varsity soccer, and junior gold hockey.
Z: What animal would you be and why?
JB: I would be a gorilla because they are the real king of the jungle. Unit.
Z: What life experience has shaped you the most?
JB: I randomly lost all hearing in my right ear when I was 8. I learned to accept my disability and to adapt to my new circumstances. This experience led to meeting people like me who have a hearing losses, but also have other severe disabilities which affects their day to day life. When I met these people, they were incredibly optimistic regardless of their circumstance. This gave me a new perspective on the world and motivation to try to be as happy as I can every day.
Z: What is an unusual food you love?
JB: I love green olives.
Z: What does being on Homecoming court mean to you?
JB: It means that being nice to people you haven’t met before and being friendly goes a long way.
